You can find this popular Japanese chain all over Santa Barbara. They even opened one up in Isla Vista. Cool.

The food here is very average Japanese cuisine. You have the typical rolls, teriyaki chicken and beef, miso soup. Nothing is world class here but you can get a nice filling meal for around $10. That's not too bad.

The service is pretty good. They work somewhat on a team system. Sometimes the refills are lacking but usually they are on par.

One con is their strong objections to using multiple AXXESS cards at the same table. This could be prevented by having many parties of two sit near each other - at least that's my thought.
